IATA Traffic conference areas



International Air Transport Association(IATA) has divided the whole world into three different areas, these areas are called IATA traffic conference area TC1,TC2, TC3, the main reason to divide world into 3 areas is to make the air fare calculation easy and to find out the route of certain journey in safest economical and fastest way.

TC1

TC1 comprises of:-

1. North America 
2. South America
3. Central America 
4. Greenland
5. Bermuda
6. West Indies
7. Islands of the caribbean sea
8. Hawaiian Islands
9. Midway
10. Palmyra


Traffic Conference-1 Sub-Areas.

TC1 – North Atlantic, North Atlantic comprises of Canada, Greenland, USA and Mexico excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and US Virgin Island.

TC1 – Mid Atlantic Including The Caribbean Islands, Central America , South America plus Panama Canal Zone except Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay. 

TC1 – South Atlantic Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay & Uruguay.


TC2 

TC2 comprises of:-

1. Europe
2. Africa
3. Ascension Island
4. Parts of Asia
5. West of Ural Mountains
6. Iran
7. Middle East countries 
8. Azores
9. Iceland 
10. Seychelles Islands


 TC3

TC3 comprises of:-


1. Asia (East of the Urals)
2. Oceania * Australia
                  * New Zealand
                  * South Pacific Islands
4. Japan
5. Korea (North Korea and South Korea)
6. South East Asia 
7. South West of Pacific
